MatCube Satellite System

The MatCube is a high-performance 12U CubeSat operating in a 600 km Sun-Synchronous Orbit (SSO). It’s designed for secure monitoring, surveillance, environmental management, and crime prevention using five state-of-the-art imaging payloads.

Imaging Payloads

🔬 Hyperspectral Imager

Detects mineral compositions, vegetation stress, and pollutants using spectral signatures. Useful for illegal mining detection, agriculture, and environmental studies. 50 Mbps data rate.

📸 High-Resolution Optical Camera

Offers clear daytime visuals for tracking surface activities such as smuggling or stock theft. Near real-time data delivery at 100 Mbps.

🌧️ Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)

Enables day/night, all-weather imaging to detect terrain changes, unauthorized activity, or remote movements. Data rate: 200 Mbps.

🌱 Multispectral Camera

Monitors vegetation, land use changes, and illegal logging. Ideal for agriculture, forestry, and conservation. Data rate: 50 Mbps.

🌡️ Thermal Imager

Detects heat anomalies for nighttime surveillance, poaching, industrial leaks, or hidden human activity. 20 Mbps sensitivity imaging.
